Domaine de Roally Vire-Clesse

Domaine de Roally is a newer part of the E.J. Thevenet estate, the same one that produces Bongran, one of the greatest White Burgundies produced south of the Cotes de Beaune. Trust me, this stuff is far from shabby, and it has a mysterious appeal that is hard to put into words, much like Bongran.

100% Chardonnay grown on the classic clay/limestone soils of the region, all farming is done organically and by hand, and like Bongran, this enjoys a long and cool, natural fermentation. The resulting wine is exotic, fleshy, and deeply flavored. I could go on and on with tasting notes, but this is a wine I want you to experience for yourself. Very limited availability on this one.
