This "insider Cabernet" comes from one of the old-school estates of Oakville, long considered Napa's Pauillac. Every vintage since 1991 has been made by Heidi Barrett, who also was Screaming Eagle's first winemaker. Her deft touch with Cabernet Sauvignon is on full display here.
